Welcome to the Teen Ministry of West Gate Baptist Church.  The Teen Department is an exciting place for teens from 7th-12th grade.  We offer a variety of programs and activities that will strenghten their faith in Christ, solidify Christ-like character in their lives, and encourage fellowship with other young people who have a desire to serve God.  Please take a moment to read about the ways in which we may serve you and your children.

Bible Class
Each Sunday morning, our youth group meets at 10AM for fellowship around the Word of God.  Sunday school is a time for exciting singing, testimonies, and Bible preaching.  Lessons are prepared and given to meet the needs of young people in today’s society.

Annual WGBC Youth Conference
Every spring hundreds of young men and women drive to Tampa, Florida to be a part of our annual West Gate Baptist Church Youth Conference.  Youth Conference is all about two days of preaching, teaching, fellowship, and great activities. 

Each year, the teens of West Gate attend summer camp at Venture of Faith in south Georgia.  The purpose of Venture of Faith Camp is:

Evangelize the Sinner: Camp is a great atmosphere for reaching lost young people. Strong, powerful preaching from God’s Word penetrates the hearts of teenagers.
Encourage the Saint: VFC is a place where young people can meet Christian friends. We provide a staff who are great leaders to give the young people an example to follow.
Equip the Servant: We desire for every young person to make decisions for Christ and to make a lasting impression on their lives.
Exalt the Saviour: Everything we do is centered on magnifying Christ. We desire that everyone who leaves the camp property will see Christ in a bigger way.

West Gate Christian Preparatory School, a ministry of West Gate Baptist Church, was founded in 1972 and includes daycare and preschool (K-3) through high school (12th grade).

It is our mission to provide the highest quality spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social instruction. Our program and instruction are based on sound educational and Biblical principles, and are presented in a disciplined and safe environment.

West Gate Christian School recognizes that all knowledge comes from God.

Skilled, experienced, and caring teachers, who are committed Christians, dedicate themselves to assist their students in the learning process. Year-end testing is used as one tool in measuring how much the student has progressed.

Great care has been taken to make the facilities of West Gate Christian a safe and secure environment for learning.  We have a magnetic locking system with key-card entry by authorized personnel only for utmost protection for your child.

As a ministry of West Gate Baptist Church, Florida Baptist College exists to train young men and women to carry out the Great Commission through a local church ministry. The desire of FBC is to find Christian young people whose hearts are tender towards the will of God and to prepare them to serve God through solid Bible teaching, academic excellence, and practical ministry experience. FBC’s goal is that its graduates will be spiritually and practically equipped to reach the world for Jesus Christ through the ministries of local, independent, fundamental, Bible-believing Baptist churches
