West Gate Baptist Church is not only a place to enjoy relationships with other people, it is a place that a person can be blessed by the ministries of our church.

The ministries of West Gate Baptist Church are specifically designed to help people from all walks of life.

Each of our ministries are focused on ministering to the entire family. From the nursery to the senior citizens, West Gate Baptist Church is a place that cares about you.

We believe that every Christian ought to serve God in a local church. Each of our ministries are led by our Pastoral Staff, but each ministry is equipped with our people at West Gate. Come and find a place you can call home.

BUS MINISTRY

Each Sunday our buses are in the local neighborhoods with trained workers escorting each child safely to the bus and providing transportation for that child. While on the bus, children participate in contests and fun activities. Children are taught to sing songs that exalt Christ and memorize Bible verses.

Upon arrival at the church, children are escorted into the building. Adult workers take the children to their assigned classes where they are taught from God's Word, the Bible. Our teachers lovingly instruct the children about God's love for us and His judgment of sin.

After church, children are taken to the buses where attendance is verified and the trip home begins. Upon arrival at their home our worker's ensure your child's safety by not leaving until the children have safely entered the home. Children are supervised at all times.

ADULT BIBLE CLASSES

At West Gate Baptist Church, we have a heart to reach adults and families from all walks of life.

Each Sunday morning at 10:00, Adult Bible Classes meet. These classes are designed to meet the needs of each adult in the Tampa Bay area. All our teachers are dedicated and caring individuals with the same goals and purpose in mind; reaching and loving people.

These classes will help you in several ways:

1. You will meet friends that you will have for a lifetime.

2. You will have the opportunity to ask questions that you might feel embarassed to ask in a larger setting.

3. You will recieve practical and spiritual help in your Christian life every week.

4. You will learn Bible principles regarding the home and the function of every family member.

5. You will feel the heartbeat of our Pastor and congregation for world missions.
